At first, the seller was hesitant and said we have our warehouse in Europe, and it's of good quality. However, another seller who was HongKong based and selling on Amazon.com told me that most of the products on Amazon are from China.
Now I will not share the links to the products that I have researched because I have a soft corner for those sellers as well. However, taking another step I started exploring the manufacturing origin of the same product sold on Amazon.com from china based websites like Aliexpress.com and Alibaba.com selling a variety of products at wholesale and retail rates.
Jackpot found there were a number of sellers on Aliexpress using different brand names however with the same product features and yes there was a difference in price. Amazon seller was selling at 29.99 USD, and the Chinese-based website was selling at 3.69 USD.
